Nails Supreme ~ Nail Art Pen Kit Review

Nails Supreme
Professional Nail Art Pens

I have been given a set of Nail Supreme design pens as a gift and to review. I have been using them for a while now so thought it was about time I shared my thoughts on this set of nail art pens.

Nails Supreme offer a matt and a metallic pack, each kit contains 10 colours in the form of 5 inter-connecting duo pens. Each pen is double ended which can be detached from the middle to use singularly or to swap round your chosen colours, making it easy to put in your handbag or take on your travels.

The matt pack contains the following colours: Purple / Royal Blue, White / Black, London Pink / Canary, Silver / Gold and Crimson / Forest Green.

The pack I am reviewing is the metallic kit, which contains the following colours: White / Summer Plum, Pink Pear / Tangerine, Shocking Pink / Gun Metal Grey, Meadow / Shimmering Sea Blue and Sunflower / Sapphire Blue. I also received an added white pen (see front pack picture above) with an inter-connecting barrel of rhinestones to finish off your nail art design.
Each individual pen has a brush and a micro-pen for very fine detail. Every pack contains 10 colours, 1 design / instruction leaflet and a cleaning pin.

To apply, you simply unscrew the lid to reveal the brush for applying a base coat and pull the lid to reveal the micro designer pen nib. The nib part can achieve very fine lines and by slightly squeezing the tube, you can apply a thick line if needed.
So far I have really enjoyed using these nail art pens and would definitely recommend them. I have used other nail art pens and found them to be either messy, colours not intense, not a consistent flow of liquid or after a few uses they dry up and you can't open the lid any more! Well, I haven't had any of these issues with these pens! They are clean to use and the flow of liquid is great. They dry really quickly too so you can layer or overlap colours if required with no drag from the underneath colour with the nib.

I use the nib part of the pens a lot more than the brush mainly because I love using O.P.I polishes as my base and then designing with the nail art pens. A few times I have used the brush part to apply a base if I have had to be somewhere pronto with no nail polish on and they have dried so quick!

I have included a few pictures of some of the designs I have done. Actually designed with my left hand even though I am right-handed, so not my best work but just to show how easy it can be to do nail art designs with these pens for beginners through to advanced levels.
Hearts designed with pink pear, gun metal gray, shimmering sea blue and white

Fine line bow design achieved with white nib.

Shocking pink brushed on base with white dot design.

Thank you for visiting my blog and I hope you have enjoyed my review. 'Happy nail art designing'
